I still have bouts of crippling insecurity about who I am as an engineer and person. They happen much less frequently these days; been trying to do the work.

To counter this, when I'm having a good day and something difficult comes together, I will shout at my husband wherever he is in the house… "YOUR WIFE IS A FUCKING SMART BITCH."

To his credit and my delight, he often responds with something like "Why are you shouting things that I already know?!?"

Today is a shout-y day. ❤️

@rustyshelf @geekygecko I mean hey, on the first go? Nothing ever works on the first go. "YOU ARE A PROGRAAAAMING GOD!!!" That's what you really need though. Someone who cares and will politely listen to your outbursts.
